The gatehouse would do me Ian! Is it two houses, do you know? A lot of them aren't lived in now, which is a pity. I wonder what the rent would be ;-)

Not lived in Rosa, the main house is a museum owned by Doncaster Council, the only fine day Friday, is the only day it's closed.

I prefer it too Nick I can just imagine a coach going through.

Top dead centre Ian, a nicely shot perspective, i've often said if only these places could talk, there again we might not want to hear some of the stories;-)) I could live in the gatehouse too,Rosa can have one half i'll have the other.

If only they could talk they would be criticizing us peasants. I'll put your name down Neil.

Excellent point of view and precision positioning Ian. The sunlight works to great effect too. Personally I think a tighter crop so you can't peep round left and right with a nibble off both sky and tarmac would strengthen the composition and place more emphasis ont the focal point but it still works well as is,

Nice one !

Thanks Sam I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
