Thanks for visiting meteocoll. The flowerpots normally sit around the bottom of the cross, but someone had moved them because it was windy. Maybe that is how one got broken.

lots more to the story, for instance how Oswald went on to Iona to entice the first settlement on Lindisfarne, to bring CHRISTIANITY TO THE gOLDEN kINGDOM of Northumbria, etc., etc., etc., and so on and so forth....ad infinitum-but it's too long for a wee poem!
