It was very inviting. At the gate by the road there was a sign saying "Welcome to St Oswalds, the door is always open". We walked along a curving grass track (you can see it on the aerial photo) to the church which was indeed unlocked. It was absolutely deserted and it was good to see that there had been no vandalism or theft. The visitors book showed regular entries, too. Thanks for visiting, Nawitka.
