Staithes seems to always call you back Sam and you always seem to come up with something different. Another beautiful shot Like Regards Richard

It does Richard and I never tire of the place, probably because it does always seem to have something to offer in all conditions. Thanks as always for your kind words and encouragement,

best wishes, Sam :o)

Dagnab-it Sam you live in the most picturesque area in all of GB. Love your work... I Gotta move to a prettier town.. :-/

Yorkshire Sam on November 25, 2012

Just when you think you couldn't see another different view of Staithes a talented Yorkshire man come up with one, as Frank Carson would have said it's a cracker. I think I prefer this one to the other Sam don't know why just do personal preference I suppose.

Neil Grimwood on November 26, 2012

I reckon Frank Carson would have said..its the way i take'em too mate;-)) Two Bobby Dazzlers!! i know i was there but its still nice to have a look round, nice work again Sam;-)

Cheers Ian for the compliment though I have shown this view previously albeit it not as full width as here. Since that was also taken in November I felt it would be a good one for Neil to try since it is a testing shot to get right, especially as the village is in deep shade when the sun drops while the sky is very bright. The tide was supposed to be lower than it turned out to be according to the tide table I'd looked at and so instead of being grounded and motionless the boats were floating around to add even more difficulty.

As Neil rightly said mate "it's the way I take them " :o)

Yorkshire Sam on November 26, 2012

Cheers Neil, for all the reasons I have mentioned in my reply to Ian I am thrilled to receive two BD's mate and more so you now knowing the difficulty factor first hand.

Another two stunning photos of Staithes. Like them both. Regards Derek

Yorkshire Sam on November 27, 2012

Thanks again Derek, I usually turn my attention back to places like this in the darker months when the countryside looks a bit dismal, there is always some colour and cheer in the painted boats and cottages, plus the tourists aren't as much of a problem so no doubt there will be more to come from Staithes :o)
