Tauchgondel Sellin, Diving @ Sellin

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Diving experience and the sea - in 3D

With this new world diving and educational institution can people -without getting wet and without any prior knowledge - make a safe dive into the Baltic Sea. In the Tauchgondel' there is also dive down surface pressure, because the visitor's room is pressure firmly constructed. Seasickness is excluded, because it is virtually impossible to move the device horizontally. Visitors can take a dive with the diving gondola to the seabed of the Baltic Sea. The Dive down is 4 meters below the sea surface, which is about a meter above the seafloor

The diving capsule is located at the top of the 394 m long Sellin pier, which is considered one of the finest piers in Germany.

The diving capsule is in service since September 2008 and is the second of its kind, offering 30 people, thus six more against the prototype of the gondola at Zinnowitz.

Hello K@rin~~~Yep! I'm back!!

Hope all is well with you..I've taken very few shots this year..Too many other problems to deal with, so photography and almost everything else is on the back-burner

As for the diving machine, what will they think of next :)

Good choice of colour tone :) I like it :)

Best wishes!

hello Jim

lovely to cu around again .... I felt so alone ;))) just a little kidding ,

yes a wonderful machine but unfortunately we could not take a dive because of technical problems , thanks for liking it , was great to photograph it .. although a little difficult because a lot of people all the time in the "shooting range" ..

warm greetings to you
