There's that d... woman - getting in the way of the lens again! ;-)

Have you remembered the name of the type of stone yet?

PerO the Viking G- on November 25, 2012

Finally I was able to catch that lovely lady in a photo Amelia. ;-))

The stone is called Anorthosite. :-)

Thank you for the lovely books as well. Are you still absolutely sure? ;-)

I cannot understand the witchcraft here, why is there no shadow from yon BwL, whereas there IS a shadow from the chap holding on to the pole/sign ??

Most intriguing puzzle!

Trying again: Anorthosite

There's a PDF which include English text somewhere, I will try to figure out how to link it. :-)

Make a Google search on "hellvik steinbrudd" and find on page four bottom "Hellvik White Anorthosite" :-)))

PerO the Viking G- on November 25, 2012

Or even easier: Make a search on "Hellvik White Anorthosite" directly. :-)

How do you like my duopod Mike? ;-)))

Amelia Royan on November 29, 2012

This is a photo taken in Rogaland. You may know where this is. :))

As for the duopod, I think she might be a biped. ;-)

You have to click on one of the photos BTW.

I found another link, but it didn't send. :(

I didn't know Amelia, but now I do. ;-)

I made a search on "Jibbeheia" and I found that it is a mountain area in Sokndal municipality, north-east of Hauge.

I found this site with lots of photos, a route description and also a map of the area. (Links at the left.)

You may be pleased to know that I have now treated this red jacket with a waterproofing spray. :)))

PerO the Viking G- on February 27, 2013

Yes Amelia, that's always nice to know that you will not get wet to your skin when you go out in the rain. ;-)))

It's a very nice jacket! I still miss it! It was a bright colour spot in many of my photos! ;-)))
