What a pity that your photos are so small!

Beautiful Landscape! A bit similar to ours!

Hi Sonny, Thanks! Ireland doesn't have as wonderful high mountains as you guys!!! This is in fact the highest point in kildare which as you can see it's not very high! It's going to get less high as you map see from the google map a roadstone and quarry company have dug & blasted half of the other side of the hill away! A disgrace i say!

Warmest regards from Kildare h

A disgrace indeed, re. above.

Amazing cultivated and lush rural landscape!

Nice!!!

Hi sadogashima, Thanks! I think so, but others here in Ireland unfortunately don't see to worried about this ancient hill disappearing for gravel!!! Thanks for the support!

Warmest regards from dublin h

It's terrible and it's infinitely regrettable. Where I grew up there was a hill called 'Saddle Hill'. It had a perfect pommel and cantle of a saddle. As years past, a roading company which shall remain unnamed...quarried more and more of the hill - so now there is no pommel and it is no longer Saddle Hill. I regret the sight every time I visit....

True, sadogashima, It's a terrible pity because once you lose these things, they are gone forever. A very selfish legacy for future generations! h

Hi h, the Druids won't be impressed if it disappears. Don't they assemble up here on the Hill of Allen on a certain date? And the tower is on shaky ground! Alan.

Hi Alan, Hope your well! Not sure, is it not the ancient home of the fianna or some irish legend?, anyhow most of it would seem to be dissappearing into gravel! It's kildare very own Tara!!

Warmest regards h
