Nga Kina

The new sculpture by Michel Tuffery, Nga Kina, was constructed in Auckland and trucked to Wellington. The last of the nine concrete kina - weighing between five and 7.5 tonnes a piece - was lowered into place at Kumutoto Wharf would be increasingly visible at low tide. Each concrete kina is 2 to 3 metres in diameter.

Az új szobor alkotója Michel Tuffery. A Giantz Kina - Nga Kina, Auckland-ban épült, és kamionnal hozták le Wellingtonba. Kilenc beton Kina - 5 / 7,5 tonna egy-egy a darab - a Kumutoto Wharf-on látványosan mutatja magát apálykor. A beton Kina 2-3-méter átmérőjű. A Evechinus chloroticus, kina = tengeri sün őshonos Új-Zélandon. Neve is van mindegyiknek.
