Kikinda - City Hall 1891-1893

KIKINDA -GRADSKA KUĆA ( TOWN HALL) is a monumental building built in 1891-1893 in the neobaroque and neorenaissance styles. It has a tall observation tower with Latin inscription ' ATTENDITE! ', meaning attention, and the relief of the town emblem ( a cut off Turk's head on a sabre held by a hand in armour ). The facade is decorated with the reliefs of torches, emblems, a man, a woman and a child.This Assembly Building is also a place where people can get married or attend concerts.
