There are 4 species of bats roosting in the karst of Khao Chong Phraan altogether.

Same as in Muskoka in July, EXCEPT the cloud is millions of Mosquitoes!! ;-)
Greetings ƤōƝƓ :) Fascinating sight for sure..In the UK, bats are never seen in large formations..Unlike Starlings
Is it possible to hear the bats chirping from that location?
It was good to see you in my gallery today :))
Seasonal greetings ƤōƝƓ :)
Francois (BritPlom), they roost in the cave. The landscape of Western Thailand is mostly limestone mountain ranges from northernmost to the Phi Phi Islands.

Tomas, I definitely want to see the giant mosquitoes of Muskoka once. :)
Jim (AXOTA), thank you for the link. That's spectacular too. I've never seen such large flock of starlings before. And yes, you could hear the bats chirping from there.
