Hi Mick, thanks for your nice comments I always appreciate your words, you asked if I got wet, I was literally kneeling in the water, I wanted the swirls of the water on the rocks, you have seen this and I thank you for it, thank you for your like.

IN answer to your question Steve in this instance I didn't use a ND filter, because the light wasn't too bright, I haven't used one in a long while, but yes if your going to photograph water movement etc. I would invest in one.

If the light is very bright you will need one to bring your Fstops down, but if the light is not very light you won't need one. I hope this answered your question. Thank you for liking my gallery, it's nice when someone asks for my help, but I'm learning something new all the time.
