This man said he shucks about 400 dozen oysters per work day. He is paid by quantity, not by the hours worked. Photos were not allowed on the auction floor.

He offered an oyster, but I declined. Amazing, I've never eaten a raw oyster (and didn't want to start). :o

If it becomes food poisoning by a raw oyster, it will become pain in hell. I seldom like a raw oyster :(

I eat raw fish, in fact I did that day, but I cannot swallow that ugly oyster. ;b So many people love them, though!
