L; this puzzles me...

Diane MP on December 9, 2012

Why? ; )

The name, lots of horses there?

Diane MP on December 10, 2012

Oh - a horsefly is a species of fly with a painful bite, which I have experienced. They do love to live around horses, so if you are riding one you are often chased by these big, awful flies (there are also deer flies). I suppose there are a lot near this village, but I have no idea why they would name their irrigation company after them. Actually, it's probably a county agency rather than privately owned.
