I have my hood up to keep my hair dry when I swim across the sea. As you know, I always like to have it cut and blow dried every day, so I don't want to look as if I have been out in the rain hail snow or wind. ;-)

It's always good to have a hood Amelia. ;-))

I'm gonna miss that red anorak.

I Assume that Adrian too has arrived safely back to England now?

Warm wishes from a snowy Sola, :-))

It was a bit of touch and go with all the snow at Sola, and the airport didn't open until 10. Adrian's colleague, travelling to Sweden, had his SAS flight cancelled from the Wednesday afternoon, and still hadn't boarded a plane when Adrian was called 1 hour late for the KLM flight! I think everyone was caught on the hop, and it was wet snow too, not so easy to clear. ;-)

Enjoy the white stuff. It has been very cold here with freezing fog, but today is mild. I have met Rosa, another Panoramian, in town for a coffee. Very nice!

Hugs, Amelia

I can imagine his nerves then Amelia. :-)

It was pretty rough for a while, but I did what the authorities recommended; stayed indoor. I had a short trip around the airport yesterday evening, and then they were still working on clearing the road along the beach where the snow banks at some places were nearly 2 meters high. :-o Most of the snow around Sola center is gone now, due to mild weather and rain, but according to the news, there are still a few main roads closed at the higher parts of Jæren. As you may imagine, it's the strong wind that made the problems.

Anyway, it's good to know that you are happily reunited. :-)

A great hug back to you, and my best to both of you. :-)

Cheers,

PerO
