The latest Morpeth series is for Palmina. I was trying out my latest ebay bargain and didn't realise the date stamp was switched on, so lots of cropping where possible. I really need to go back early on a Sunday morning when the town is quiet.

One of the most recognised thing in the town I think. It's lovely to walk these streets on a cold frosty morning.

Glasgow had a bigger budget than Morpeth, Billy. I look at these and can't help picturing Rowan Atkinson saying (in a French accent) "Eet's a beeg willeee!"
Palmina: I was going to make a joke about walking the streets, but.....well I've done it now. I often have to drive the Kirkhill bus through the gap on the left and it can be quite a squeeze!

The tower was original built as a gaol. The two little figures at its top are in period costume.
