Hi Jean, This is a shot of the mountains on the Cork/Kerry border, This view can be attained on the road from Glengarriff to Kenmare, a wonderful area & drive! Delighted you enjoy it.
h, many long years ago, I fell in love with the music of The Clancy Brothers and the Irish folk songs. Because of that, I also fell in love with the Irish landscapes. The country is so beautiful, isn't it? We have St. Patrick's Day here in the states and I always wear green. Here in my little town, we don't have green beer or big celebrations but I always watch on TV to see them other places. We say that on St. Patrick's Day, everybody is Irish. Even if we aren't.

Hi Jean, that is really great to hear! I hope now were all Irish in spirit!, as over the years many nations have been very very good to us and no more so the the US. Did you know the new president elect has Irish roots & of course we never forget JFK!
Indeed the countryside is beautiful, but i have to say ,to me, it's the light & skies here. They can be very beautiful & fleeting.. They can really enhance the landscape in a second.. , we ignore the grey days! maybe that's the bit of what be Irish is about!!!
