OH Mary I love this place!! where in the world is it? You come up with little towns I just do not know about:) But then, there are many little intersting places tucked away in Georgia aren't there? Its so pretty, neat and well kept. Love those benches, and look! a birdbath perched there in that planter!. Iam coming, and you can take me here and we'll sit and watch folks, and enjoy visiting! Iam on my way:)
Nice to see your posts, always. AYSL for this one!
Hope you are doing well, and getting ready for Christmas. But before Christmas, there is another "holiday" coming up!!!! :) enjoy!
Fondest thoughts and wishes dear Mary..
~~Hugs to you~~...Sarah
Hello there, Sarah, and thank you so much for your enthusiastic visit! I absolutely loved the place as well. Isn't it just delightful? I took this shot right in front of the old Grande Hotel. It is positively magnificent. It is currently closed, but you can still look through the windows, and everything is just as it was inside. It's incredible. The locals are hoping someone with some big money will come in and re-open the place. It is certainly a show-place, and this is putting it mildly. As you said, the whole area is so neat and clean. Leave it to you to notice the bird bath! Ha! Ha! It is a darling area to visit and shop, though we went on a Monday, and most of the shops were closed. Apparently Mondays are their day off. We'll know better next time. It sure was fun though, and I can't wait to go back for another visit. Merry, Merry Christmas wishes to you too, and I can't believe what a great memory you have! Yes, there is one more holiday just before Christmas! Awwwh ~ thank you!
Big hugs right back to you this evening,

Ahhh yes, I remember you telling me that his birthday was right around the corner as well. What could be better than a December birthday? He sure is lucky having you for a mother, for his birthday cake will most definitely be the very best! Enjoy the wonderful season, and thanks again for remembering me!

LIKE. I love the sense of perspective in this shot. The repeating shapes of the pillars leads the eye into this enchanting scene.Kindest regards from Scotland, Joe
