To dock a boat? No, just for the birds!!

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This structure of old steel rails was on the beach in front of the Hotel Ancón, for no other purpose then for a photo opportunity, and for cormorants to sit and shit.

I used the first alternative in the mornings and evenings several times, as from this location you could see sunrise and sunsets without moving from your beach chair!!!

In 2005 this was still a functioning wharf, but I guess, one of the hurricanes destroyed it.

That's the real spirit re-use old material for other purposes, Cuban people are used to do so . Very nice and interesting picture, LIKE 59, regards Lucien

I think it was a wise decision to leave it there. Even fish like it, and swim around it.

LF - beautiful photo strict minimalism, great shot.

Could be also somewhere in Venetian laguna - Venice is surely great und unforgettable but has two realities: the polished one La bella vitaand the real one Street seller.

Best regards
