Hi Nick, Thanks for the Y*s , really appreciate it! Delighted you like this one, This wonderful old bridge was built for a road-side steam tramway! A little extravagant, but a lasting memorial to optimism!

Hi Jim, This lovely old stone bridge crosses a inlet of the wonderfully sounding 'roaring water bay' in Ballydehob cork! I've always loved the romanesque feel to the design & arches! delighted you like it! P.s ..Were all vistors to the Peoples Republic of Cork!!!

found another one! Y*! man it would have been sweet to roll along the country side over there in the day, it's to bad that it couldn't have lasted a little longer.

Hi Dr Lamont! Hope your well, I have a appointment to visit to your gallery 2morrow! Ta for the YS! This was part of the Schull to Skibereen tramway, the the locals dubbed it the Sick & Sore tramway because of it's ailing service, back in the day, eventually expiring for good in 1947! It's great area Don, even without the tram!

Hi H you have a great black and white gallery. Jim, Axota has suggested it to me, and really I like it. Black an white pictures, in my opinion, give more strength to the image.
Cheers.

Hi El pare de la Clara, I am delighted you like the gallery.
Jim's a good friend & a essential cog of our Pano community!!!! I really appreciate his suggestion & your time taken to visit.
I love mood & atmosphere in pics, BW really defines the emotion of photographs. I suppose because we don't normally view the world this way, it's a thrill from a different perspective in tone & contrast. Free from the shackles of colour you can be more adventurious where often colour doesn't survive well.
Ironically at the moment i am taking a little break on the B\W & trying to see can how i bring the mood from Bw in colour. I think colour is so so more difficult to work with!
Thanks for dropping by!
Warmest regards from Dublin h
