Dear Mary Alice you found yet another southern viewpoint full of mellowness and a tale of forgotten days!... May your New Year bring you moments like this and of course i'm looking so much forward to follow your footsteps...I wish you happiness, good health and of course good photo opportunities, Peter

I love the angle you chose, MaryAlice. I would have probably chosen a boring head-on shot and totally missed showing lovely buildings in a row. A B&W treatment would make the shot look a hundred years old. Nice!

Great shot and story!

MaryAlice on January 7, 2013

Ah yes, Peter, yet another southern gem! Oh, how I enjoyed this place. It was quite dreamy at every turn. I'm so glad you enjoyed the shot, and may I wish you a warm and wonderful 2013 as well. Thank you again for your always kind and thoughtful words. All the best to you, my friend.

Keith, You make me laugh! You would have probably lined up the shot just exactly as I did, but thank you for your kind compliments. These charming buildings were really speaking to me, as they still are. You're right about the B & W treatment too, but somehow the colors were just too pretty to pass up, especially with things all decorated for Christmas. Happy New year wishes to you, and thank you again for dropping by my gallery. It's always a pleasure hearing from you. :)

Greetings, Brian, and thank you for enjoying this neat little place. Happy New Year to you and yours! :)

Warmest regards from a chilly Georgia,
