'Young Woman and the sea'. The book Ernesto lived, but did not write. Ancón Peninsula

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

On a afternoon walk, a welcoming few drops of rain to get a bit cool-down effect.

A nice chap, Heraldo, runs nearby an unsuccessful restaurant. It is about 1 km from the all inclusive 4 star hotel. Economy 101, was not his strong subject in school.

The same can be said about the city of Trinidad, where there are 400 Paladar (private restaurants) and 400 casa particulares (guest house) competing for tourist. I would say from my observation that most struggle to survive. They have to pay large fee upfront to the government, regardless the income.

For the younger generation on Panoramio: American Ernesto Hemingway lived in Cuba and wrote his most famous book "Old man and the sea"

The other Ernesto, wrote Motorcycle diaries.
