Cherry Island and Lighthouse [see comment]

Internet sources indicate Cherry Island Lighthouse started life as a manned, wooden fog-bell tower in 1903, and after several bell upgrades,

got a light in 1969; then later being replaced with cylindrical (metal?) tower. Previous auxilary wooden buildings there have been demolished,

and replaced with solar panels for this automated lighthouse. (Water in foreground is US territory; Cherry Island is in New Brunswick Province,

Canada.) (In the background is the Wilson's Beach area of Campobello Island NB.) (Tide is pretty far down, as indicated by the dark tide-line on Cherry Island.)
