A great angle on this one Lex. How old is this bridge?

GasGasL€X on December 18, 2012

Cheers everyone, Stuart I have no idea. This old bridge is a complete mystery to me..

ebi lutze on December 18, 2012

hi Lex from the Group A1- Unique Australia, wishing you a merry Christmas *. I think, ones it served its purpose well *L Regards Ebi

GasGasL€X on December 18, 2012

The quandry Ebi is that I have no record or memory of this bridge ever having been in use... Its allways been just this...a couple of sticks in the water.. I must know its history.. :) Feliz Navidad y Año Nuevo everyone... :-))

Stuart Smith on December 18, 2012

I think it was put there so people could get to the other side.... :-))

GasGasL€X on December 19, 2012

Ahh, Stuart ..... the answer was so obvious I had over looked it, like a expensive Govt committee meeting set up to discuss the whole issue of the bridge a member of the public comes along and says... "I could'a told them that for half the cost."

Stories stories...How does such a forlorn structure catch the imagination of so many of us? Lost stories..bit sad.

GasGasL€X on December 31, 2012

Hi Jock, this bridge perplexes me, there is no history of why, when, who, what why with this bridge anywhere... its like it never existed...This is all Ive ever know of this bridge... just a few stumps... X-[

InTheBush on July 22, 2013

Is there a railway formation leading up to this bridge, Lex?

GasGasL€X on September 23, 2013

No railway C-line.. must have been some other type of mystery bridge...
