The moon in a pool

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

So, I don't really know what's going on but every time I/we plan to go to the beach it rains!

I am not talking about a wee bit of drizzle. I am talking about the outer reaches of Hurricane Sandy or this torrential thing that started our short pre-Christmas warm up on Ocracoke.

I thought we would need our kayaks it was so flooded........

This is taken two days later, it had mostly gone by then.

I dunno Phil - I am not an astronomer or owt like that, but just after sun set I notice that new moons do this. I am not sure I like it but I am equally sure that there is nowt I can do about it!

I'm sick of the storms and the puddles though......

Best wishes from North Carolina - Jethro
