Hi Rich, I wonder if the name has a connection to Easter, it has the same colours as an egg. A lovely and unusal bloom without any greens. So many lovely flowers to be seen in the Rockies - it must be paradise for the bees that live there. Kind regards, susan

Greetings Susan, I love this flower because of the fur it has around the stem. It is very short, but the colors are so beautiful. I am glad you like it. I dedicate a bouquet to you from the Moraine Park.

Cheers,

Rich

Rich, thank you! It is really an unusual plant, I have to check out the local botanical garden at the university to see if they have such a specimen. Best regards, susan

Greetings Susan, Let me know what you find out. I would imagine you have a species similar to it in your neck of the woods. Good luck.

Cheers,

Rich
