Bell tower of the Church of St. Francis, erected by Franciscan monks in 1813. The Symbol of Trinidad, is probably most photographed building in Cuba. High, near the top of the city it is now a museum of Cuban freedom fighters. Featured on T-Shirts, mugs, pottery and even on a 0.25 Peso coin.
Trinidad is the 3rd oldest city in Cuba. Founded in 1514!
It had a UNESCO assisted paint job done, since it was declared as World Heritage site in 1988.
