Thank you, Alfred, Ryan, Tamás, and Gerry, for your kind words. So often I like a more varied and brighter palette, so I'm a bit surprised that I like this one, too! Best wishes, Marilyn

Very nice! Well done! I can't believe you found so many in one place!

I love the colors in this shot. It is very overcast, I assume? I was trying to make out what is going on in the background, but I can't tell for sure. It just looks like a very beautiful place, and I think the mood is excellent.

It's a very peaceful moment. I like it very much!

Greetings,

Mary Alice

Panoramio is a great place! A bit of conversation about someone's Grand Teton photos motivated me to hunt this out. I'd never paid much attention to it, but I realized that I like it! I'm glad you do, too, Stranskyat, Tjeert, eme jota, Jacques, and MaryAlice. Special thanks, Jacques, for the star.

On our brief trip last April, we never saw the Teton Mountains in full sunlight. There were always clouds obscuring a good part of the scene. But this afternoon there was hazy sunshine when we came upon these elk, and the effect was lovely. And, MaryAlice, in the distance there are mountains with small patches of snow. You can get some idea of it from this picture though the mountains in the bison photo are lower.

Greetings, Marilyn

I love this picture, Marilyn! The picture is full of life and the scenery and colors are beautiful. This one deserves a yellow star!

I have spotted some elks in Yellowstone.

Excellent picture. This region that I visited two years ago is magnificent both by its grand landscapes and by its fauna.Greetings from France
