I happen to love this photograph, but you are the very first one to comment! Isn't that funny how that happens? I LOVE this river, and it's so pretty from way back in the woods here. This picture was coming out of the deep woods from way back beyond the open park where you commented on that other picture. To me, it's like paradise when you can hear the water but just can't see it yet, but then you get closer, and suddenly, there it is.... in all it's glory! The green was just starting to come out on the trees again here, and it was just so pretty to me.

Hello again! I see that you found another one of my favorite places. Yes, I love the river. It's so peaceful down there. There are usually not very many people there either, so it is especially inviting. I can't stand crowds, and these days it's rather hard to get away from them all most of the time.

This particular place is a far hike from the state park, so I'm usually not bothered by much except bugs or snakes. =)
