The Original 4-Wheeler?

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

Four-wheeling is something of an institution in Colorado and this old truck has been at it for sometime. The current owners have "upgraded" the seating with addition of the two extra seats in the rear bed of the truck and raised the ground clearance for use on the most rugged trails; and I use that word purposefully as this truck can definitely go places where there are no roads. Also note the chain storage at the rear for winter snow touring. As close as I can determine, the vehicle is actually late 1940's Willy's Jeep Truck. Willy's was the major manufacturer of the army's jeep during World War II. While Willy's eventually failed the Jeep brand and nameplate survived and thrived first at American Motors Corporation and more recently at Chrysler.
