Dredge's Cottage

Late Victorian Heritage Building: 'Dredges Cottage', 303 Queen Street, Campbelltown, NSW, Australia.
Built in the 1890's. Now occupied as a Veteran's Recreation Centre, it has a small war memorial, the 'Kevin Wheatley VC Memorial' adjacent to it and visible from the footpath.
It is adjacent to Campbelltown Mall and backs on to the Mall's main car park.
It is described on the Heritage List as "A good example of late nineteenth century house, containing the style of the colonial period. Behind the 1890s house there is an older three room cottage. Was part of an important line of buildings before the shop between it and the fire station was demolished."
Note the late Elizabethan wheely bin on the footpath.
