Novara Di Sicilia February 2006

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

Novara di Sicilia, nestled in the mountains overlooking ancient Tyndaris, is the archetypal typical medieval town... In the distant past it was inhabited by the Normans who populated the town with Lombards... The intricate cobblestone streets form a mosaic between the ancient small houses that stand shoulder to shoulder along the mountainside with a breathtaking view of the Aeolian Islands... On this particular occasion in February it was carnival time a really great time to be there.
