Hello Chris, I have never experienced any crime personally in Oxford (or anywhere else I have lived & worked in England) but there is crime in Oxford the same as anywhere else. The usual things apply - don't go to dodgy areas on your own at night, don't show off luxury goods in the street, be streetwise & look after yourself & you will be fine. You should go to Oxford & England - it is all very interesting & 99% of people are friendly!
