This is a great picture and a beautiful place to be Ian. Must be great to fish there. LIKE! Greetings Berend
Plenty of fish here, Berend. Some of them are fish that were stocked in Borumba Dam, others native to the creek. This creek is popular with sporting fishermen.
But I love its serenity and beauty.
Serenity and beauty are the things you get for free when you're early in the morning with a boat at a creek or river Ian. Greetings Berend
It is wonderful, both to observe and to experience serenity. That is one of the reasons I enjoy following my camera, Berend.
... And our languages are full of variations on the theme: serenity, tranquility, placidity, repose, quiet and calm, equanimity, ataraxia, peace of mind, peacefulness, repose, peace, quietude.
And its from such a state that our "emotional batteries" may be recharged, creativity induced and beauty seen, energy given.
May there be many times of serenity as you walk the paths, and observe the birds, this year again.
Thanks Ian for your wishes. I hope to be able to go walking with the camera in 2013 and later. But in the Netherlands it's almost impossible to get a quiet environment. We're with to many to be alone or hear nothing but the wind and/or birds. That's what I like so much of Oz, the wideness and tranquility. Greetings Berend
Until you come again, Berend, I'll keep sharing it with you.
