Gnamma Holes, Hidden Water near Mt.Augustus WA

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Next interesting point would be the Gnamma (Water) Holes. The Gnamma Holes are natural rock holes which continue to hold water for a long long time, even in drought condition the wandering Aboriginals would find water under the rocks and they marked them with circles and a dot in the middle, scratched and painted on the rocks, so every one could have a drink. Those markings are the sign for water.
