Common Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

This is the lakeside place of the friendly Robin ~ where I have hung fat seed balls in a wire holder, nuts in a wire holder and bird grain in a plastic tube and access holes. The Robin has learnt to use all three ~ now his neighbours the Blue Tits gather round to get some too. There are several pairs and Mr Robin is none too pleased ~ but can't fight them all off :~) For me ~ I'm trying to learn how to take shots of birds and I'm not finding it easy. The Blue Tits for example hardly ever stay still for longer than a second or two.

This looks like a pretty good effort to me Nick, I can see every feather on the colourful little guy! Like from me.

pete.t, Today was the first time I've even been able to take a shot or two of the Blue Tits Pete ~ previously they have kept a little further away and out of effective range. So thanks for your encouragement and like ~ all the best ~ nick

Nice shot of this little beauty. It's not easy to have a good shot of them. I have the same experience as you. They hardly ever stay still. Like
