There are so many of these Greek temples floating around our landscape that they really puzzle me--were we paying some belated homage to the gods of the ancient Greeks and Romans, or were we trying to lure Marse God into a neoclassical Southern mansion? But as we can see from all around the Earth, and in every faith, He does have many mansions, most with very high overhead costs . . . .
Lovely reminder of human nature, r.w. Which took longer to build? The church or the stone wall? Which will be standing a century from now? Good work! Like!
There may be many faux Greek Temples floating the around the good ol USA, but only one so far has paid tribute to you.
Couldn't wait until I was dead, though. Did you find the first pastor under the floorboards in this one? How's the ceiling? I will say you have me interested . . . "why I like to go places with r.w.dawson for guide."
