Like11. Nice shot, interesting story, the red child is just perfect.

Greetings from Sweden, Leif.

Nah Rosa, things are easily misunderstood on the web. I thought it looked like rain and cloudy weather on this picture, the day before New Years Evening, so I thought it was bad weather for fireworks for you :-D

Leif Fielstrup Guldb…

Thank you Leif. Always nice to see a splash of red.

Greetings, Rosa.

Ah, I see! Well I have to admit to being a bit of a 'party pooper'. I was in bed and asleep before midnight...but I'm sure there were many fireworks around. Sophie woke up at 5am and started singing! I managed to talk her into having a little more sleep ;-))

Another beauty!! Super composition, perspective spot-on. Y*. (I see Thatchinator has been parodying Masefield in previous comment. My version as follows...."I must go down to the seas again, the lonely sea and sky. There I lost my vest and necktie.....and went home nearly bare." Sorreee!).

Best wishes, Brian.

Very interesting Brian. I'm sorry to say I didn't know who Masefield was...I looked him up and he was the Poet Laureate! Good to learn something new everyday! I like your version ;-))

Best wishes, Rosa.

PS. Thank you for the Y*

Worth looking-up his poem Sea Fever Rosa. You'll probably remember it from school.

Cheers, Brian.

I don't remember it at all Brian, but I like it :-)

Great capture Rosa, Lyme Regis is lovely even in the rain, especially walking along the Cobb although it can be a little hairy !! LIKE Kind regards Pam

Pam G

Thank you Pam. I can't walk along the Cobb now...that slope seems to be getting 'slopier', or maybe it's just me :)

Best regards, Rosa.
