The ominous nuclear power plant in the distance. Never far enough away.

JBTHEMILKER, Thank you for a comment. The unit 1 was partially melt down in this power plant on 1966. Unit 2 is still operational, though I didn't see the steam from water towers when I took this picture. Now there is a plan to build Unit 3, which will be bigger than Unit 2. An environmental group coalition is asking to reject the plan. On another hand, Monroe area has a gigantic fire power plant that emits >17 mega tons of CO2.
