Trinidad transportation, 1 HP = 0.745699 kW; Horse cart Cadillac.

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Trinidad traditional transportation. This scene is quite typical of this Cuban town. The horse my be actually a little below the 1 HP. I would guess around 0.40 kW. (as per Francois, this 0.4 kW= 1 Mule!!)

The horses are equipped with diaper, which catches their excrement.

The town has less horse shit than in Toronto, where the police horses pollute without any regard for clean city and obviously without any punishment.

  • in Trinidad, women sweep the street in front of their houses. In Toronto there may be only few older women from Greece, who still will make sure the house is clean inside, as well as outside.

Have to feel sorry for these horses though Tomas...

They complain about people with dogs here but mostly they clean up after them here but I notice people make more mess on the beaches than the dogs that are not allowed on most beaches...

You mean the diaper?? That is not really a problem. Many southern US cities have the same system. It works and I would love to have the manure in my garden!!

I have seen quite recently a dog with real baby diaper!

Really!

To be honest, I do not like dogs on the beaches.

I bet police horses in Chicago do not have this arrangement, but I have seen it in South Carolina.
