I've nominated this photo for the contest category of "happiness" because that is what I felt upon circling a simple rocky knoll that I thought I could do in 1 hour . . . in just under 3 hours! I could finally see where I was parked; could see that I was likely going to beat both nightfall and the approaching winter storm.
And add to this that I was in "foreign territory" and was mindful of various snakes and other poisonous beasties that could have been in every handhold I reached for.
(But it was so cold I would probably hear them sneezing and coughing first!)
