your photos are beautiful!!!! I think you should be a professional photographer! I´m so happy that you visited my photos...thanks

Alezinha, I am definitely not a professional. But thanks for the nice words anyway. I carry a point and shoot camera wherever I go and just take snap shots of beautiful views I see. David My Contest - "CALIFORNIA DREAMING"

Dear friend I have a curiosity, What is the brand of your camera? Your photos have beautiful colours...I want to change the mine...

davidcmc58 on February 17, 2009

alezinha, I have been a Canon man all my life. Older photos in my gallery was taken by a 7 year old Canon S-40 (4 mega pixel point & shoot). Newer ones are done by either a Canon Rebel XTI (10 mega pixel digital SLR) or a Canon G10 (15 mega-pixel point & shoot). My contest photo was taken by the Canon G10 - an incredible 15 mega pixel point & shoot for $450! David My Contest - "CALIFORNIA DREAMING"

yesterday i was thinking about this photo...it looks like this frameworkof Monet "The Watere-Lily Pond" look

davidcmc58 on February 18, 2009

Alezinha, thank you for comparing my photo with a masterpiece. I am absolutely flattered by that. My understanding is that Monet's "lily" was inspired by a bridge in a Japanese garden. Since this bridge is in a Japanese garden, that's why there is some similarity. I also want to point out this place is where the movie "Geisha" was filmed a couple of years ago.
