A perfect shot indeed dear mate, this image can be in category for National Geographic competitions, like+YS, best wishes and thanks for beautiful words left on my gallery, Ahmet
Beautiful environment and great picture Ian. LIKE! Greetings Berend
My spirits were high that day, Berend for it was such a beautiful landscape. Thanks for your appreciation.
I would that I could take you to New Zealand, and that I could explore Macedonia with you. Both countries have particularly beautiful and varied landscapes and settlement patterns, with unique overlays of history.
Thank you for your affirmation and appreciation of this image. And I meant every appreciative word about your gallery and your friendship.
The place looks wonderful, i like it!!
Great capture, Ian!
Another taken in NZ
My best, David.
This would look impressive, in winter snow with a condensation cloud from breathing sheep against the dark colours of the windbreak background, as in Girolama's photo.
But I am pleased with the picture-postcard look here - taken not long before winter. I'm pleased you like it and that you drew my attention to the other memorable one.
Thanks Liz. It is truly captivating to explore NZ landscapes. Picture postcard images around every corner of the road!.
Another lovely scene Ian and a beautiful composition ~ positively dreamy ~~~ All the best ~ nick
Excellent photo! LIKE!
I thought for a moment, when I was here that I might hear the sound of bagpipes in the glen. But that is not a dream of a-half-a-world-away, for it is certainly possible that I might have heard them here, for there were many Scottish emigres who settled in the South Island, New Zealand.
All the best,
Thank you Nikolay. It is a very beautiful landscape, for there is so much colour, majesty, and around every bend, another surprise. As, well the moods change rapidly here, for by nightfall, the rain was pouring down and the gales were howling. All this makes for great landscapes.
