Trinidad Commerce, Fruit and vegetable mobile stores are common sight in Trinidad, Cuba. The vegetable/ fruit variety is usually limited to one.
In the hotel there was only one kind of tomatoes, cucumber, grapefruit. The pineapple, oranges were very small & dry in comparison to what is available in Canada. Maybe because no chemicals were used to fertilize the fields? Or central planning was to blame?
Papaya, grapefruit and guava were excellent, so we had a choice. For the people in town the choice was minimal.
