This OLDEST SHILALEKH of CHOKHANDA MAHADEVA is the most ancient of the old SHILALEKH found at CHOKHANDA MAHADEVA near Bhadreshwar and is well preserved in their museum at the temple.

We have plenty of information about Bhadreshwar of KUTCH which is one of the PANCHTIRTH of KUTCH for Jains. But Just south of BHADRESHWAR on sea side there is a famous Shiva temple knows as CHOKHANDA MAHADEVA temple. The old Shiva temple was destroyed during the last earthquake of 26 January 2001. We visited the place for two times soon after the earthquake along with HISTORIAN AND EX MUSEUM CURATOR. AND FINDING WE FOUND WERE SO ASTONISING to be published for.
