Lovely Jubbly. Much of the UK has been like this of recent. Still, at least we will have a drought notice to look forward to in a couple of months.

Thank you that man. We have binary rain here KC - none of this constant drizzle, but ON (full pelt, stay indoors) or OFF (sunny and nice for hours).

This was after some of the ON rain.

:o)

Yeah.... the British Isles weren't made to house 70 million people. Thats why we had to leave! No water, no space (and lousy weather).

Hang on in there buddy - Jethro

Yorkshire Sam on January 15, 2013

Perfect shutter speed my friend to bring us a very nice capture of this delightful scene.

David Brown Photogra… on January 15, 2013

Thank you Sam - one day I will get a shot of my local waterfall (I can walk to it from my home) that is half as good as one of you'rn. My problem is (there are many) that I have a fixed viewing platform and you can't see it from no place else. So this is the view of it. Tale it or leave it. All the can change is the weather, lens or time of day!

Or processing!

Maybe by moonlight it'd be nice.............

Best wishes and happy snow time - Jethro

Randy Hall on January 22, 2013

Great shot David. This is my kind of scene. Love the composition and the use of a slower shutter. Well done (just as good as that Jethro fella). :)

Cheers from Canada, Randy

David Brown Photogra… on January 22, 2013

Thank you Randy its heartening to hear you say that. This is a dang hard shot as you only have one (safe) vantage point. WYSIWYG!

Stay warm - David

Patty Arsenault on January 23, 2013

A lovely photo, Jethro. Excellent exposure for a very nice composition! Well done! like

Love the new profile pic and description. Don't think I could get used to calling you David, however! Jethro suits you quite well!

Cheers,

Patty

Thank you Patty when I am here I think of myself as Jethro too. David is a much more serious and staid person. A bore really!

I am glad you like this one. It is a tough shot!

Best wishes from a very chilly North Carolina - errrr... Jethro
