Cuban Countryside - Sugar Valley, near Trinidad. Mirador de la Loma del Puerto

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Near the city of Trinidad is the Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills); an area where the development of the Cuban sugar industry began in the 18th century. The fertile valley, which once supported 60 sugar mills, is no longer growing sugar cane.

One of my favorite cuban songs - Chan Chan

This place was a home away from home for 30,000 blacks, brought from Africa as slaves.

Mirador de la Loma del Puerto, offers an elevated lookout, above the valley. There is a restaurant, patio with the view & sugar cane hand press for juice extraction.

A Mirador (balcony/belvedere) is an architectural structure sited to take advantage of a fine or scenic view.

no Tom , questo è un panorama, NON è una PANORAMICA !!

ti prego di cambiarla secondo le istruzioni che ho dato nel forum del TTT

grazie e ciao,Paolo.

Paolo, I think this is really dumb!

Now you don't have any photos, Tom.What do you want to do? Do you want to change the first photo? Paolo is right, this is not a panoramic. You can take a normal overview and crop it 1x2 1000to 2000, 1200 to 600, if you don't have a real panoramic. But please don't be undecided ;-) Thanks,Daniela
