Carrick Hill

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Carrick Hill was built in 1939 but it looks much older as it is designed to have the appearance a 17th century English manor. It was the home of Edward Hayward (the son of the family who owned Adelaide's leading Department store - John Martin) and his wife Ursula Barr Smith (the daughter of wealthy pastoralists) The house complete with all it's original contents is open to the public for a fee. There is no charge to walk around the gardens.
