This house is on the South side of Cape Ramano Island near Marco Islands. This interesting house was originally several hundred yards off shore but Hurricane Wilma washed away a considerable amount of shore and severely damaged the house.

How familiar are you with this area? Because yes before Hurricane Wilma it wasn't the full 700 yards off shore..it was maybe 200...the other 600 had been being washed slowly away the storm just hurried the process up.
The couple that built this house originally had a few arguments about where they were placing it. The mans wife bickered about it being so far away from the water but her husband predicted exactly this happening and said they'd be safer back there. Then some building permit when wack and they never were able to live in the house, but forked out tons for it to rot away on the beach. Pitty no?
