Picture Taken September 2003. This house was also several hundred feet away from shore when built. Hurricane Wilma washed away a tremendous amount of shoreline leaving this hovering above the water.

This house was probably similar in design to the other in the background...but was completely destroyed.

This which is nonexistent now actually was never fully built from my understanding. They had an issue when some debris from it ended up in the ocean, so they put the project on hold for a couple of years then it was just dropped.

I've also been told that each of these owners had a hefty fine placed on them when they ditched the houses, and I can only guess how hefty of a price the land originally was!
