one of my favs! I can't remember exactly where i took it, so it's in the wrong position on the map. It looks like some of the former wtc buildings around the plaza, can't be sure!
Across from Radio City Music Hall on 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) between 47th and 50th Streets. Take a look at google maps without labels and see if you agree. I think you might have been standing in front of the Music Hall looking SW (and up).
Hi,
The point you have these on Google Maps is correct; it is at/near Rockefeller Center. Definitely not WTC area. Other than the (former) towers and the Marriot (was in the "shadows"of WTC 2 and the buildings on the Battery), the others in the complex (WTC 3-6) were only about 15 stories, brownish and L-shaped. WTC-7 (old and now rebuilt) was/is about 30 stories and much too wide to be the ones you cited..
Nice pics!
Thanks for the confirmation, couldn't quite remember the exact location of these buildings, they did look a little similar on the outside to some of the smaller WTC buildings. Delighted you like the pics & very much appreciate your time and comments. Come back soon!

I think it might be part of Rockefeller Center in midtown. Did you go there? I'll check and help you if I can.
